Keeping the excitement for the new cars in mind, we have compiled a list of 40 most exciting cars that one shouldn’t miss at the Auto Expo 2020. The Next-Gen Creta (ix25)
Hyundai’s popular SUV is all set to get a makeover. The facelifted version of the Creta will be showcased and launched at the Auto Expo 2020. The facelifted version of Creta has already hit the road in China and will be coming to India soon.
The car has been spotted testing on the Indian roads. Creta’s facelifted version gets a list of upgrades on the exterior styling and will get the same engine and transmission as from its sister brand Kia’s Seltos.

Mahindra XUV 300 EV
Home-grown Mahindra has already made its subtle move in the EV market with the e2Go and the eVerito. However, with the EV game amping up, Mahindra is expecting to make an all-new entry into the EV market.
The popular XUV300 is ready to get an electronic transmission at the Auto Expo 2020. The car will get slight updates on the exterior and on the front end. XUV300 is expected to get a range of 300 + kilometres and will be pitched against the Tata Nexon.

Tata Altroz EV
Tata has already taken a slew of praises home with the Tata Altroz. After all the praises, Tata is all set to bring the EV version of the Tata Altroz.
The Altroz has already gained some momentum after it was declared as one of the safest Indian cars by Global NCAP. The car made its debut at the Geneva Motor show last year and is expected to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2020.

Great Wall Motors (Haval F5 & Haval F7)
Among all the cars the ones that are set to grab the eyeballs are Haval F5 and F7 at the Auto Expo 2020. The F5 is a compact SUV which is powered by 1.5-litre 4 cylinder petrol engine, churning out 169 bhp.
Sitting above the F5 comes the F7. The F7 SUV made its debut at the Moscow Motor Show in 2018. The SUV shares its transmission platform with the F5, although with a more powerful 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine.

Tata Gravitas (Tata Buzzard)
The Gravitas by Tata is speculated to be the 7 seater version of its popular SUV, the Harrier. Tata’s new SUV is based on the same platform as that of the Harrier which is a design inspiration taken from the Range Rover series of cars.
While the front has an uncanny resemblance to the Harrier, the rear fascia gets a design upgrade. The car is going to be a 7 seater SUV and will be powered by the same engine which powers the Harrier.

Hyundai Verna Facelift (2020 Verna)
The Verna already has an unformidable presence in its segment. The presence gets to set a makeover with the facelifted version of the sedan.
The car will be powered by a BS6 compliant engine borrowed from the Kia Seltos churning out 144 Nm and 250 Nm of torque in the petrol and diesel segments respectively.
Facelifted Hyundai Verna is expected to be priced somewhere between ₹8.17 to ₹14.07 lakhs.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift
Maruti Suzuki sub-4 metre SUV, the Brezza will be seeing an upgrade from its original design at the Auto Expo 2020.
The Brezza facelift will be coming with a slew of upgrades at the Auto Expo 2020. The car will be BS6 compliant and will finally be available in the much-awaited 1.5-litre petrol engine.
Maruti will most probably equip the Brezza facelift with a 5 speed MT and a 4 speed AMT transmission.

Great Wall Motors Concept H
The Great Wall Motors will be showcasing its Concept H at the Auto Expo 2020. The Concept-H is most probably going to be an EV or a hybrid vehicle.
Although there isn’t much out about the Haval, it is probable that the car is going to be an SUV, since it has the Haval brand name.

Maruti Suzuki Futuro-E Concept
The Maruti Futuro E offers an exciting future for Maruti and for the car industry as a whole. MSIL recently got the name Futuro E patented and is all set to enthral the consumers with this offering.
With what little is known from the teaser images, the car is expected to be an electric coupe-SUV. The Futuro-E is going to be pitched against the XUV300 EV and the Nexon EV and is expected to have a range of 300+ just like the other two.

Renault HBC
After stealing the budget car market share with the Renault Kwid, the French carmaker is all set to bring in its sub 4 metre SUV for the Indian car market. It is being speculated that Renault is going to offer the car with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with both, manual and automatic transmissions on offer.
The car will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 and will hit the roads somewhere in the mid-2020.

Kia QYI
The Kia QYI will be entering the sub 4 metre SUV segment in India. After the success of the Seltos, the QYI will be entering the Indian markets. The car will be based on the Hyundai Venue, with the same engine options and will be priced most similarly to the Venue.
The QYI is expected to be priced at somewhere around ₹7 to ₹11 lakhs and will be pitched against the likes of the Brezza, Nexon and the EcoSport

Great Wall Motors Ora R1
This will be one of the most interesting cars at the Auto Expo 2020. The car is the world’s cheapest electric car. The Ora R1 features 30.7kWh battery pack giving a range of 350 kilometres in a single charge.
The car is priced between ₹ 6 lakhs to ₹ 8 lakhs, which is an incentivised price.
With the SUVs being the main priority for the GWM it is yet to be seen if this EV will be entering the Indian markets for now.

Volkswagen T-Roc
Volkswagen will be bringing in its compact SUV, the T-Roc in the Indian markets this year. The car is based on the MQB A0 IN platform of Volkswagen and will be rivalling the cars like the Kia Seltos and the Hyundai Creta.
It is being speculated that the car will only be available in a petrol option. However, both, diesel and petrol variants will be on sale.

Skoda Octavia RS245
This one is for the speed enthusiasts. Skoda will be launching the sportier and torquier version of its luxury sedan at the Auto Expo 2020.
The thing that makes it even more special is the fact that only 200 of these beasts have been allocated for sale in the Indian markets. The car will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine generating a massive 245 bhp and a torque of 370Nm.
The prices for the same are expected to start from ₹25 lakhs and above.

Mahindra XUV500 EV
Yes, you read that right. The Mahindra XUV500 might be making a comeback as an EV. Although Mahindra has been tightlipped about the EV version of the car, there have been high speculations that the car will be displayed at the Auto Expo 2020.

Renault Triber AMT and Turbo
Renault’s MPV, the Triber is ready for some serious updates. The car will be making its presence felt at the Auto Expo 2020.
Renault is offering the Triber in the AMT version as well as with a turbocharged upgrade. The AMT version will be priced at ₹40,000 more than the current version.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Facelift
The Ignis is getting an outer upgrade. The front grille gets U shaped chrome inserts and will continue to be powered by the same BS6 compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine.

New MG Hector 7 Seater
The popular MG Hector will be coming in with a 7 seater version for the Indian markets. The car is set to get an upgrade inside out. The vehicle will be a bit longer than the current 5 seater version and will get two captain seats in the middle.

The Harrier AMT will be entering the Indian market. The popular SUV will be coming in with an AMT upgrade in the current version.

2020 Mahindra Thar
India’s favourite off-roader will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. The car will get some major upgrades on the outside. The dimensions of the car are expected to increase.
The Auto Expo 2020 is going to be an exciting playground for all the carmakers this year. With most of the cars making progress in the EV segment, the competition is going to increase for the good.
