As 2021 proceeds, we look forward to having more such launches. So, here’s a list of 10 awaited cars upcoming cars that will be coming out in the following months. Expect July/August 2021

Kia Sorento
The Kia Sorento is expected to enter the 7 seat SUV market in August 2021. It will compete with the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass and the upcoming XUV 700. Kia is known to have feature loaded cars and we expect the same with the upcoming Sorento. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs.25-30 Laks.

Volkswagen Taigun
The Taigun will be VW’s card into the compact SUV market. It is expected to be unveiled in the Indian market in August 2021. Considering VW’s trends, the Taigun will bring along a strong engine offering better performance than its rivals. It will be taking on other offerings like the Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta, Ford EcoSport and Kia Seltos. The Taigun is expected to be priced anywhere between Rs.12-15 Lac.

Tata HBX
The Tata HBX has been in the works for quite some time now, it is expected to launch in August 2021 and play in the very competitive sub-compact SUV market. It’ll compete with other cars like the Honda W-RV, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonnet. It is expected to be priced under Rs.10 Lacs. With the launch of the HBX, Tata now will be competing in every segment of the automotive industry ranging from Rs.4-30 Lacs.

Audi e-Tron
The much-awaited Audi E-Tron is the new entry in the Premium Electric Car market and it shall compete with the Mercedes EQC and the Jaguar i-Pace. Audi has already started to accept bookings for the E-Tron and it is expected to be out on the roads by the end of July 2021. The expected price is somewhere between Rs.1-1.20 Cr.

Kona Electric 2021
Hyundai has updated the Kona for the 2021 model year and it is expected to be on the streets by August 2021. The Kona was earlier competing with the MG ZSev. With only 2 electric cars in this price range, we are excited to see what Hyundai will bring along with the Kona to stand out from the competition. Although the Nexon EV is priced much lower than these, since these 3 are the only affordable cars in the electric market, the Kona will also compete with it. The price is expected to be between Rs.23-25 Lacs.

Tesla Model 3
Tesla has begun its operations in full form in India. They are all set to make a debut in the Indian market. Tesla is expected to start by first rolling out its entry-level offering, the Model 3. Although we say entry-level, the prices will surely not be so. The Model 3 is expected to be priced at around a whopping Rs.60 Lacs. Tesla has not given any hints for expected dates yet, but we expect the Electric King to roll out anytime by the end of 2021.

MG ZS Petrol
The MG ZS-ev was a much-loved car. Its sleek design language, feature-loaded nature and contemporary look were loved by a lot of people. However, not everyone wants to venture out to an electric vehicle. MG has listened to its customers and it will be rolling out the ZS in the conventional Petrol trim with the name of ‘Astor’ by end of August 2021. It will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport and the Skoda Kushaq. The expected price stands between Rs.12-14 Lacs.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny
With the recent hype around the Mahindra Thar in 2020, Maruti is expected to launch it’s the answer to the Thar, the Jimny. Jimny is a 2 door SUV, focused more on off-road driving and adventure styled driving, it is equipped with a strong 4 wheel drive system. While the Jimny has been available in the foreign markets for quite some time now, Suzuki has not yet unveiled it in the Indian Market. When it launches, the Jimny is expected to be priced at around Rs. 10 Lac figure.

Force Gurkha
The Gurkha has been in the Indian market for some time now. While it does offer excellent off-road capabilities and a rugged adventurous look, Force couldn’t manage to sell the Gurkha in large numbers. With the new 2021 model coming in August 2021, Force plans on changing that. The Gurkha will directly compete with the new Mahindra Thar as these are the only 2 cars in this segment as of now. It will be priced at Rs.10-12 Lacs in India.

Mahindra XUV700
The Mahindra XUV700 is a much-awaited launch. Mahindra will be launching the XUV 700 in the Indian market in August 2021. Mahindra had won the hearts of a lot of people with the XUV500 and we have a lot of expectations from the upcoming model. It will compete with the likes of the Tata Safari, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Alcazar and MG Hector Plus. We are very excited to see what Mahindra brings to the table with this new upcoming model. It is expected to be priced between Rs.20-25 Lacs.
