Similarly, another new entrant in India; MG Motors has sold 3,536 units of the Hector SUV, registering 1.24% market share which is higher than the likes of Volkswagen, Nissan and Skoda in India.

Kia Motors Is India’s Top 5 Car Maker
- Kia Motors has entered the list of India’s top 5 carmakers in terms of market share in October surpassing Honda, Renault, Ford and Toyota.
- The top 5 list is dominated by Maruti Suzuki with a market share of 48.87, Hyundai follows with a decent share of 17.58, the third position is secured by Mahindra with 6.49, Tata Motors is on the fourth position with 4.64. Finally, Kia Motors stands 5th with 4.52.
- Kia Motors has only the Seltos SUV on offers with no other car available for sale in India. Kia Motors achieved a market share of 4.52% by selling 12,850 units of the Seltos in October.
- Independent analysts predict that Kia will continue to perform well give it has already registered 60,000 bookings and has dispatched 26,640 units or just 44% of the total car orders received.
